About Me
When I started lifting weights in 6th grade, I knew I was hooked. Since then, improving my strength and building my body has become a passion. Now I turn my passion toward helping others reach their goals.
I started competing in powerlifting in 2010, competing in over 20 meets in five different federations across the country, and compiling best raw lifts of a 601lb squat, 429lb bench press, and 639lb deadlift. I’ve also competed in strongman and bodybuilding, winning the overall at my first bodybuilding show as a middleweight.
My coaching business began formally in 2022, with plenty of informal coaching occurring along the way, as a founding member and eventual president of the University of Iowa Powerlifting club in the early 2010’s. I’ve also been a powerlifting judge since 2016.
I primarily work with competitive powerlifters, but my ideal client is anybody who is serious about their goals. You don’t have to be an elite-level athlete to benefit from my coaching. I help my clients meet their goals, whether its weight loss, health and fitness, or getting as big and strong as they can.
I live in Phoenix, Arizona, with my wife and three dogs.
